Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.
I'm so sorry that you were treated badly at the hospital.
The doctor was a fool to not see what was really going on with you. You need help. You are starving yourself, abusing laxatives, and not drinking. You cannot live very long like this. Dehydration is VERY dangerous!
Honey, Please, call 911 and get some REAL help. First You need to be admitted and re-hydrated.
You are struggling with an E.D. You cannot fix this problem overnight. I know, because I was once struggling myself.
PLEASE, PLEASE, don't let yourself die.
You are such a wonderful, beautiful person.
The world needs more people like you........ Not Less.
It is not meant to be that you kill yourself. Depending on how old you are, again in the UK, if you tell your GP what's happening they will refer you on for specific help. You are entitled to that, and if your GP doesn't then push for a second opinion. You need the help of a crisis team now, and continuing care by a community psychiatric nurse.
You will feel so much better if you are seen by a specialist in eating disorders. You are clearly feeling suicidal, and if you go to your gp and tell him/her that (write it down if you can't say it) you will get the help you need.
I'm sorry you had such an awful experience. If you were feeling better I'd suggest complaining.
i really dont think i can tell anyone my gp will probably find out now from the hospital
First of all, why are you depressed? You need to talk to someone about this.
The hospital should not sent you home.
You need help, and killing yourself is not the help you should get, you need to get out of this funk..!!! you didn't say what your problems are.
Whatever they are, think about death, you will be no more.
things in life can be bad, but life can be beautiful also.
You need medications to help you as well as a trained psych. to give you medication.
Death is final, you don't want that.

If the first source of treatment does not live up to your expectations, you need to find another source. That's precisely what I did.
Good luck.
I would still tell your GP, as my son recently od'd and the hospital still hasn't sent any kind of letter (it's been three weeks). You've got to love the NHS!
Could you manage to write a letter to them? Maybe get your parents to go with you, or a good friend, so you don't lose your nerve? Having suffered from anorexia I know what it's like to lose yourself entirely to controlling your calories, watching the scales, being deceptive and watchful. It's horrible, and you deserve so much more than that.
Your past can destroy you, but I didn't want the past to beat me so I eventually started working on things which made me so upset. I am the person I am because of the things I have survived, and although I will always have scars I am glad that I have survived.
Be kind to yourself; reach out to someone.
Tell them you are afraid that you are a danger to yourself.
That should get you started on a healing path.
