Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.
As pessimistic as I am, I can't take my own advice when I say we can't dwell on the negative, but it's so true. If we dwell on the negative, we can't see that positive things do exist. I'll tell you one positive thing that you have in your life. If your job interview truely went well, you have a great, new job to look forward to.
Do something that will help you feel relaxed, renewed, and take your mind off of your problems. Get a pedicure or massage. Take a walk, or read a book.
I'm sorry you aren't feeling well right now, but things will get better. I hope you feel better soon. Take care.
Sincerely,
Megan Elizabeth
I read some of your profile, I'm very sorry about the loss of your mom. As she was a source of support for you, the loss is great in many ways. I do think your mom would want you to continue the fight, despite the continuing struggle. Who else do you have in your life? Do you have pets? My pets have been the only reason I kept trying these many hard years. We all know its difficult to keep on trying when the road is dark, and the positives only possibilities, but I do hope you will do your best to gather strength to keep trying to move forward. Please rethink your coming plans. Take care.
