Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.

I completely understand how you feel! I was naturally a negative person my entire life until recently. I found that blaming others for EVERYTHING was a big cause of it, also, suffering from depression and PMDD was a huge contributor also.
First, understand that there are parts of our brain that contribute to our feeling this way (lack of serotonin, where production actually starts in the gut, but that's a story for another day :-)) and also being surrounded by negative people.
I, personally, do not watch any television because there is SO much negativity! I have cut negative and toxic relationships out of my life and made a conscious decision to CHANGE my life. I was just tired of being unhappy, negative, and depressed. I read a lot, went through a lot of trial and error, focused on and listened to my body and its reaction to the foods that I ate, exercise, and the relationships that I had with others (my interactions). Eventually, I became a happy and positive person, and because I had NO support for the majority of time suffering through my condition, my goal now is to help and support as many people as I can. I have A LOT of positive and inspirational things on my Facebook that I think you would enjoy. I am a real person, very down to earth, and I LOVE encouraging others. You can find me on Facebook as Amanda J. Noe.
Also, I know that you initially posted yesterday, but have you had any luck finding any ways or sources of being positive? I am interested to find out what works for you!
