counseling is just time for you to talk, maybe with the right counselor it's worth reconsidering..i know it helps me deal with my troubles.

As your children get older, you may be able to lean on them a bit. I don't like leaning on children too much, just feels wrong. But a slight adjustment in that area of your life might help your depression.
Oh and welcome to DS! This is a really good place where people get it when you talk about anxiety and depression. As you learn more about the people here odds are you will find several people who are fighting similar issues to you. Then you can vent to them, share with them, and find some solutions that work for you!
Sometimes you have to get firm with doctors. You can remind them that the ER doctor said you needed to be seen by them ASAP. (You can get a bit snarky with them and ask them if they need to have 'ASAP' translated into words they can understand!)
Yes siblings can be hard to deal with when it comes to settling an estate. But as executor of the estate you may have the authority to decide what is what and your word is final. It may damage your relationship with them, but then it sounds like it is already pretty damaged.
