Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.
We all lose ourselves at times. Life can throw some curveballs. We all have bad days too where we'd like to hide all day. Guess you just have to make yourself go on the rough days. Be thankful for the good. You'll probably snap out of it before long, if not maybe you should see a doctor. Blessings.
I too am quite the scatterbrained girl....:) I also went through depression for most of my life and never felt whole. Sometimes it takes talking to a friend, to a pastor, to a counselor, or even all of these together. When we find ourselves missing something take a step back and as you have done ask. For me I was missing a relationship.....one of the most important ones of my life. I was missing God. I tried to blame myself for so many things that were out of my hands and that led me down a spiral, God helped me out of it. There is hope and there is a way. Talk to someone and allow them to help you figure out what it is that is missing (by the way you are awesome for starting here!). If you would like to pm me I have a great place to start. Praying for you - Rachel
