Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.
You can join as many groups as you please, but I've found that if you don't check in every day or so it is hard to connect with the group. (Some people join literally dozens of groups; I doubt that they can keep it all straight.) Look for groups that scream "YOU" to you. The depression group sounds like a good fit to start out with. If you have other issues then look for a group that is designed around that. (There are groups for various physical conditions as well as many emotional conditions.)
A huge thing is to post. Comment on posts that you can resonate with, even if it is just to wish them luck. People have journals that are as open as they want, so when you start to connect with people, consider reading their journals. (This is very acceptable here. If people want to keep an entry private they can mark it private.)
Welcome and gentle hugs
