i have read alot of posts on here being in denial of my condition ,some people on here i know, but i think i am at the point i want to post, my story in a nutshell.
Married 14 years, should have gotten a divorce years ago, seperated last year when ex had multiple emotional affairs, wife moved out left me, i stayed in house with mortgage car payment and all the utilities, we have 2 children both girls, 13 and 10, our oldest has aspergers and they think bipolar also, so she has been a stressor in things, anyhow the girls are with me 5 days a week, their mother works midnights so t hey sleep at my house, we also have a poodle who through this all has been my only constant.
my STBX and i agreed, that i pay when they are with me, she pays when they are with them.
financially over the summer it started to hit me not enough for food, or buying food and skipping some bills, ,
the mortgage is in my exes name, so now her and her boyfriend have moved back in the house and i moved into an apartment, i could not bring my dog, and while everything else is the same i find my self at this endless bottom of depression, always sad always lonely always just blah
what point me over the edge, last week an 18 year old ran a stop sign and almost totalled my car, i was ok, the kids were not with me, but the next day at work i just had enough and i yelled at my boss and felt like i was loosing control, now i am in the battle of roping myself back in, and i dont know how to do it.

I don't know what an 'emotional' affair is ... but the next thing I suggest is throwing a party ... over the fact that you have somewhat moved FROM that relationship. Make sure you have a good lawyer. You COULD delay the party until the divorce is final.
You are forgiven for going 'over the edge' ... most anyone would. Thing is, you can't think clearly when over the edge. At this point, rejoice that you have auto insurance ... assuming it is collision/comprehensive ... you were not hurt, the children were not involved, and thank your God it was not worse.
You have a row to hoe ... but it could be a LOT worse. Keep in mind, when all this 'processes', you are headed for a better life.
