I'm struggling really bad. I have mental and physical AL health Co dictionary that don't seem to give up. I currently self harm and can't stop. I just need someone to tell.e everything will be OK and that I can make it. I need someone to talk to please.

first off you can call a hotline number that is hopefully something that will help get you some reply of support from within your area....google suicide hotline numbers also maybe just mental health in your area....you are worthy of help and needing it just means you need to ask someone for it....that is why those numbers exist is to get you help....you could also go to the ER and talk to their staff about admission under the self harming you happen to be doing....

I wish I knew where on DS to find the hotline numbers but now in this new system I don't know where they are kept...

First of all, welcome to Daily Strength! I am sorry for the reasons that we have met, but am still pleased to meet you. The site just had a major redo, and we have lost formatting in replies. So this will all be jumbled into a single paragraph. (I have complained about this!) To compensate for this I will make multiple replies. Sorry for this funky nature. Hopefully they will fix this.

I know some about self harm, but I also know that this takes a professional to deal with. Please, if you are not yet in therapy, consider getting some. I have had very good friends here who did self harm, and they did work their way out of it. Some report that drawing on their arms with red ink helps, others wrap a rubber band around their wrist and "snap" it on them. I sort of understand the logic, but like I say, I am not a trained therapist so I can't really say much more than that.

There is a way out of where you are. Friends here can help you, but my biggest words of help are this: the more we put into our recovery, the more we get out of it. Nobody can fix us, they can only help us fix ourselves.
