This is a bit of a vent..
My sons friend called and said my kitten is dying. so of course they call me and I go to the rescue, kitten is only 4 weeks if that old. I said take it back to its Momma. they can't of course. so I take this kitten in and took care of it for the last couple days bottle feeding and washing, Well it's on the mend I took it back to friends, told everyone there how to take care of it. Gave them everything they need , they are very happy, I think that it does have a good home just not the brightest when it comes to kittens. GrGramma, there was more then happy to step in, her cat recentley passed age 18.
NOW!! I feel so empty, I really liked taking care of the silly kitten.
I know this is part of my Codenpendency thing, but it felt so right.

shelters always need people to provide love and care to animals until they are adopted / find forever homes.

I agree with Daisy on the providing care to animals thing....I am sure you would be wonderful at that!

It's so strange not to hear the little mews that followed me thru the house this last week.
I have to laugh my dog BO who is male would lie perectly still so this kitten could cuddle with him instead of me, he gave the kiten bathes and would cry if I put the kitten in a crate.
I can't imagine a life withoout animals in it..
But agian thanks makes me feel not so lonely..
