Hello... I am new here and just need to vent. My husband is suffering from depression. We have been together for 18 years and always had a great relationship. He has been very cold towards me and blaming me for things from the past. Some days he is normal and other days he says he is unhappy and doesn't know if he wants to be here with us anymore... I am so confused. Why is he blaming me and does he still love me? I just need some advice. Tonight after work he barely spoke to me. I feel so alone.
I suspect there is something else going on. For one thing, he needs to be honest with you. Unexplained behavior can't be corrected until it IS explained. He needs to explain himself ... fully and honestly.
How to get him to do that? I don't know.
I know what I would do .... tell him if he doesn't explain ... I will dissolve the relationship. Why? Because this is not what we agreed to. I agreed to a good marriage. This one sucks.
