Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.

Love yourself enough to kick your own ass into getting things done. That's what I do. I owe that to myself.
Can you go to Wal Mart to get more meds and use the generics or get Prescripton Assitance or get samples of meds from the doctor?
I know about a loss of control...everyday is like that for me.....
The only reason that I keep going is survival.
My advice: Pick one thing on your list to focus on, that will be your tomorrow. Accept that you will let the others go and focus on one thing. Kiss the worries of other things goodbye - imagine how you achieve the success you are focusing on. Once that is done, celebrate, and start working on the 2nd.
There are some circumstances here you can't change. That's okay. You have the power to take care of yourself and do what you need to get done to feel stable.
I normally wait for the storm to die down and then I work on what needs to be worked on.
For example, I have a horrid bedroom with clothes everywhere and not enough space. Well, the holidays are coming up so now I have time to go to Wal Mart and get drawers and shoe hangers and neaten the room.
I know that this sounds like a shallow example, but you can apply this to nearly anything--to wait until you have the quiet time to brainstorm and see what can be done.
