You're 15 and there's plenty of time to see the proverbial world. My spouse was initially approached by her cousin and it somewhat scarred her sexually. Far better to ask and go from there

I do know that you can be straight ..and have fanaticies .....of ...being with the same sex ...when you are ...comming into ....that time when your body is ready to be sexual ....and your hormones are taking over ....this is not uncommon .......just not talked about .....not everyone ....have the same fanaticies .....................if this is realy bothering you .....maby you can find a group in here ...that deals ....with this subject ...........they might be able to help you more ......if especualy it is more than a franticy you are dealing with ....................you can still talk here to .....it could do you good .....emotionalty .....................I will be here for you ................take very good care of your self ...I will keep you in my prayers ..God bless ...........

Maddie you have a crush. :) That horrible nightmare is called a crush. I'm sure it's called a crush because you're crushed underneath it. And you can certainly have one for either gender without it 'meaning' anything although really, 15 is an early age to know you are one thing or the other. Always pays to keep an open mind.

If your friend's constantly joking about being lesbians you should one day get her drunk, get yourself drunk, and then say 'shall we kiss?' Then hopefully your 15 yr old inhibitions will be overcome enough for you to give it a shot.

I've never kissed a girl but i'm pretty sure my daughter has. And probably most of her girlfriends. They all seem to, nowadays. It appears to be a thing.

I believe there use to be a group called teen sexuality on here. You can look for that one. Many people have had fantasies about the same sex as they went through puberty. That dos'nt mean you have to act on them. I don't know if you have ever dealt with sexual abuse or trauma of some kind, but this can also play a huge roll in your thoughts and feelings. Many people have also experimented with the same sex in their younger years and later decided which they preferred at a later time in life. Don't worry so much about it. I do not condone the getting drunk part as you are a minor. So many people in this world use things like alcohol to justify their wrong doing or bad behavior. If you are really interested then it is up to you to decide what you want to do.

From the time my kids were 5-6 years old, I made it clear to them that it was okay if they turned out to be heterosexual (like the opposite sex), AND okay if they turned out to be homosexual (liked the same sex), AND that's just how I put it.

Because one isn't "normal" or "better" than the other.

And my love for my kids isn't based on them being what I want them to be...but instead based on what they are.

As others have said, crushes on a sex that you won't end up attracted to 5 years from now...are common. Sometimes really confuses homosexuals and leads to the evils that people can be "converted". And same with heterosexuals.

At 15....might be better to wait on acting out on anything. (My son is 16, and my daughter is 14.)
