Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.
You express yourself extremely well in writing. Practice talking in front of mirror - it builds confidence in speaking. Are they not hearing and comprehending or just not listening.
Unless they're hard of hearing, maybe you can pause, take a deep breath, then speak slow enough for them to be able to get it. Another what, maybe you could tell them N.E.V.E.R.M.I.N.D, see if they get that.
The lost causes are the people who do bad things, without any remorse. You have a soul -- that's not your group.

Also, therapy is good. Therapy has help me a lot. So maybe it would help you too.
