Hi all,
My main form of healing is to write. Specifically, writing to help others heal. I find that when I turn my negative experiences into an opportunity to inspire and help, it makes them feel like they have purpose. Like I didn't just suffer for nothing. Plus, as I write to help, I actually find that I'm helping myself in the process. They say the greatest way to learn is to teach.
So I've been flip flopping on the name of my site and would like to know which one you think would result in more people being interested in reading it. Which one you like better?
1. BrockBlack com- I find it hard to believe that people would find me to be particularly interesting, but perhaps a persons name would make a reader feel like the content is more relatable. I always share a personal story, so if learning about me through my writing hooks people, maybe this would be the way to go.
2. AbverseChildhood com- The name alone tells people who experienced childhood trauma that this is about people like them. It's a little more specific, so others who had good childhoods might shy away. Then again it's not as personable as my name.
Thank you for your advice, I really have no idea what I'm doing, but want to set off in the right direction :P

But really, the name depends on the content. I'd postpone that until you have actual content for the website, running locally somewhere, when you see what it's shaping up to be, and then you'll be able to feel a more suitable name.
Yeah I've got about 15 post, while they all are about me, I've noticed everyone of them connect to my damn childhood! Complete coincidence. I had thought about badchildhood, my wife thought it was to bland and depressing. It's neat that you should suggest that route.
