My friend died last week.

It took all night for it to set in. I saw a couple weeks ago working. When my friend J told me, I thought he was talking about someone else. Evidently, she died the same weekend I saw her. Car wreck. That's all I know. I can't ask anyone for the details because it will just make me think about it more and I have 2 more RN finals this week. Not the end to the semester I had in mind.

I missed her funeral because I don't really use Facebook anymore. I think that hurts the most. I didn't know just because I didn't keep up to date on a social media site. We weren't best friends so I guess that makes it ok. Doing my best to accept what happened but denial is hanging on. I just keep seeing her face. Pretty sure she was buried here so I guess I can visit the grave. Get a little closure.

She makes 5. I've lost 5 friends that never made it to 30. Too many didn't make it to 20. Thanks for reading. Hope everyone is doing ok.

It is never too late to care. Send a note to her family. Let her know that you just now found out and you miss her terribly.

I had people sending me condolences for a few months after my dad died. It happened suddenly around the holidays. Not everyone found out by normal means. It doesn't mean you don't care, you just weren't told.

Reach out to the family. Send them a note about how much she meant to you. It will mean a lot to the family to know she had friends that cared

I sent you a hug a minute ago about your ' red face' and I had no idea why it was there. Now I do. I'm so sorry. PepperMan and Angeleyes had some good advice. If you want, send a card to her family, it certainly isn't too late. Visit the grave if that will bring you some closure.

Gosh, that's a lot of loss of your young friends. I'm really sorry for your loss. Sending you comforting hugs.

The Pepper is right. Share your condolences with her family. You can talk to her any time if you pray. I'm sure she knew how much you cared and if she was in any pain in the end, it has to be reassuring that she is no longer suffering and in a better place. There is nothing you can do about it now, you didn't know, that is not any fault of your own. You need to take care of you, okay? If you need to keep talking about this, here is the place to do it. I am very sorry for your loss ....it is a dificult thing .to go through ...I have lost people very close to me ..and the turm closer doesent realy mean any thing to me ...you need to mak it ok in your heart by rembering the good things about her the times you laughed together ....so that when you think of her it will be a good memorie ..and it will put a smill on your face ....that is somthing ...she would of liked ...try to rember they have all just gone home .....and one day you will go home to ...when it is your time ...and you will see each other again ..........when I think of my mother I smill sometimes I come right out and laugh because of all the joks she use to tell ...I even have a fave rate one ......you were wise to think of your RN finals ..and finish out your school I am sure that made her happy ......and you have some very good advice ..in here .......take good care of your self ...God bless
