Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.

It totally helps when you know the fact our mind have the tendency to stay with negative thoughts and its hard effort to stay away from it.
You have t work hard to achieve good while staying negative is so easy and so NATURAL!
Getting help from professionals, joining support groups like OA and Celebrate Recovery which are often offered through churches, and continuing to be honest were keys for me. Have you considered any of these?
If you feel like you're worthless, I have to question what you think "worth" is. This is the short cut by the way. The long way around is to get a counsellor, and get medication, because feeling worthless is a symptom of anxiety and depression, and isn't real.
But another way to confront the fact that it isn't real is to look hard at the word and its meaning.
What is worth? WHO are you worth something to? Yourself, surely? And if your worth is for you, personally - then surely you get to call the shots on it?
Make your life for yourself. Live for your own life and future. People who enter and leave your life; enjoy them while they are there but never take for granted that they will stay. Just be grateful for the good times together and then move on.
