Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.

i don't know anything anymore. i'm a mess, i can't tell anyone and i just don't know. i'm alone and i'm really scared. some people in class today were talking about how 3 in every 10 teenage girls are depressed, and i was just thinking ME all the time. i'm not the sort of person who people would expect to be depressed. everyone around me jokes about it all the time and i just can't deal with it anymore. i looked in the mirror, thinking about what they were saying. it's me. i am one of the depressed ones. no body knows me, they don't know what i've been through, they don't know the real me. i'm scared all the time, of myself, and of fantisies, like monsters and ghosts and things llike that. i have been since i was little. but now i realize. the fantasys are all in my mind, and every single one of them is based on someone who has hurt me. everything that scares me has always been in my head and now i know the monster is in my head i'm not scared anymore. because my mind is my own and it's me thats scaring myself. it's always been me. but how do i fix myself if i don't know who i am?

It's National Doughnut Day!Which three would you like? (never mind the calories, fat, or sugar content; just go with what you would pick if none of that mattered and whatever health issues you might have that would keep you from eating one in real life can be cast aside for this exercise as well... have at it!)
