We have a buyer. This should be a load off my mind. Instead, I am a wreck. It has been in our family for 90 years. It is just...so final. I need for everything to slow down for a while.

Dunno if you can control that or not.

I think it would be a good idea to try to see the good side of things. There is some reason the house was put up for sale ... you have a buyer. That is a good thing. Let it go at that. CELEBRATE.

I am in the process of getting my parent's house ready to be sold. They were the original owners, and had it for 50 years now. I am sad, but letting go brings a very good relief. It has been almost 4 months now, by January or February I will be more than ready.
