i go to the doc tomorrow to get a refill on my effexor - should i ask to increase the dosage or keep it the same. i have felt for the most part it has been fine and this dosage has been good for me - but just have a lot of issues in my life recently.

should meds be adjusted when going through rough spots?

I honestly don't know . . . has the increased stress been substantially reducing the effect the meds had on you? I take xanax as needed in addition to my regular meds for extra bad days . . .

Glad you like effexor . . . made me sleep all the time.

the first couple months was hell - but once i got past that they have been good. i usually feel side effects again with an increase too.

yeah, i don't think the current dosage is helping me currently, but it has overall for the past year or so... so i don't know.

Well just tell the DR about all you are going through and how you handle it and that will help him or her decide on how to treat you .
