Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.
I feel lost, too, and I think the biggest reason is because I have, like, no friends and very little support system. I have to rely on myself. And sometimes that's hard because I'm not always in the best place with depression and anxiety and all.
Either way, I get where you're coming from and I'm glad you're reaching out here. You're trying to reconnect. That's a big deal so please give yourself a little credit.
We're all here for you.
You're not alone at all, see? I think this is more common than you'd realize; to try a bunch of shit in your 20s, have it fail, feel like you should have been farther and better by now and then get totally depressed when you feel like you gotta start from scratch again. Especially with friends and shit. It's hard to make new friends in your 30s.
If you ever want to talk and try to get to know someone better, my inbox is open.
