Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.

If they went through the same thing as you and have come out with a different conclusion, maybe they are right. or maybe they are wrong; but you do need to at least consider the possibility. It is very easy to see the world from your own perspective all the time, but the mark of humanity to consider it from someone else's now and again.
Remember you're two people in two bodies, trying to communicate via a series of grunts. Lots gets lost between her mind and your ear. Lots gets lost between your mind and her ear. Until we can communicate telepathically there will always be this erosion of meaning via talk.
:D
Do you want to talk about what's bothering you? I'm a mother and I've been through it, with meds, and without meds. My mum would never have been able to help me because she was mostly in denial about her own self, and yet I think she is someone who could have very well done with medication herself.
Do you maybe have a guidance counsellor at school? They're used to this kind of thing and there's nothing you can tell them that will shock or upset them or make them cross with you, even if you yourself have done something bad. They are there to be on your side and help no matter what.
