Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.

Also, pray for God to bring that person into your life. I just recently moved and have been working on making new friends. Through Church and some groups (like dancing which is an activity I enjoy), I am finding those I click with. I will be praying for you that you do find those connections and find a good friend you can be yourself with. Please keep in touch and let us know how you are doing. I am hear for you. Hugs and Blessings!
For me also surrounding myself with friends is important. Being alone is not good for someone who is depressed. Any thoughts of suicide is serious. Please seek help if you have those thoughts and not be alone. I am so sorry too you had your heart broken. That definitely can trigger depression.
I attend a church that has wonderful supportive groups. Most churches have those types of groups and often they can provide some type of counseling or lead you in the right direction.
Journaling also helps me get my thoughts down on paper and out of my mind. I pray often and know God is my source of strength I need. Depression is an tough illness but with support and help. You can feel better. I will be praying for you. Please do continue to reach out and share. We are here for you. Lots of Hugs!
