Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.
If your looking for someone to chat with who is completely well-versed in this, feel free to hit me up or send me a friend friend request. I'm on-and-off at all hours of the day and night.
I cut too, I don't know if that would be a bad or good thing for you...
But if you ever need an ear, message me. Hugs to you for reaching out.
I use to be a cutter and I also burned myself with cigs. I have not done it for over three years and it gets a lot easier. Ofcourse I would do it when drinking and I am on the wagon so that helps a lot also.
good luck and God bless
hope you feel better soon.

times. I ended up in a mental hospital by the age of 19. I wouldn`t wish that on anyone.
I finally got on prozac and was able to function again. I also had a really nice
counselor that understood me really well.
He was the first person to make me feel
like I matter. It took 3 therapists before I met him. I would look into therapy and meds. Find a therapist that will listen to you and don`t settle for anything less. You matter. Its selfish to end your life-your family and friends would be devistated to lose such a good person. Get the phonebook out and look in the yellow pages for a counselor. Call one you feel comfortable with. set up an appointment to be seen right away. Depression doesn`t magically fix itself-you have to seek professional help. You can also call your family doctor and set up an appointment to talk about your depression. Or seek out a family member and ask them to help you seek help. I hope this helps you. hang in there your not alone
Take care of yourself.
