Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.
The fact is you will be running out of money at some point. I don't know what your options are except find work so you can stay, see if there is more you can get from SSD like if you have any other conditions like depression that may entitle you to more, though I've heard alot that it takes quite a while to get SSD in the first place, some up to five years and not without a lawyer sometimes to ensure you get it, or lastly move back to your family. I don't know how much savings you got so that may give you time to stay but the money issue has to be addressed. It is true time will pass and you will either do something or not and one way or another something will be forced on you if you don't start to plan ahead. I do understand though feeling helpless to do anything at all. Keep talking here if it helps, might break you out of the twilight zone you are feeling.
What do you think you are going to do next?
