There are places that still are primarily the historical Anglo saxons, Try, Holland MI. Still have the beaches but more of the churches and citizens, in-line with the immigrants that settled there. These spots are all over the U.S., pockets that are vastly " white". I choose people by the mind they offer, the heart they share and the way they accept. i can empathize with you but looking down on a whole other group of people is not fair. nor is it helpful to not look at why some people are 'OK' with trying the drugs? why blame the suppliers alone? somebody may bring it in. The people must learn to choose. Why is sex booze and drugs so commonly abused in certain people? its on them and they need to heal, not blame other cultures.

Facts are facts. In your area of this country, most drugs come across the boarder carried by Mexicans.

Hiding behind lies about other tribes, languages and such only allows bad to continue, the poor in every country to be used by the strong and powerful, and criminals to benefit.

Comparing to other world tribes serves no purpose. Other than silence the focus on reality, there is no point to bringing up world issues and prejudices. I find this interesting, Being of Odawa, Chippawa and Ojibwa decent, fully with in those 3 tribes. Many treat me one of two ways.......1) shut up you've been conquered

i just want to empathize unconditionally with Beaumont. i'm sorry you have to fear for your personal physical safety all the time where you live. and so sorry you have to be exposed to so much death and hopelessness of drugs. i can imagine that would not be anywhere near ideal circumstances for dealing with depression. and i'm so sorry. i imagine since you vent, that there's no way to move? i wish you could just for your peace of mind.

i wish we had a drug control system in place like Portugal. they treat it like a social mental illness problem, with consequences for offenders that provide treatment plans (from the pushers, dealers, and creators of drugs on up). they are given social workers, a team of three to oversee their treatment plan in prison. they aren't just stuck in general pop with more drugs that flow like water. what we do here. i think we have a really sick system, and i'm so sorry you have to be on the receiving end.

Life is what you choose to focus on. Yes, i agree, surroundings can feel entrapping, and, when you're surrounded by assholes all day, you become an asshole yourself.

Isn't San Diego near the beach? If so, go to the beach, to get away, from all that shit. Just bring a can of mace in case one of the Mexicans or somebody else tries to fuck with you, rob you, rape you, whatever.
