Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.

I can't get hired anywhere because I'm both overqualified and underqualified for everything. I don't have work experience and I have a fancy name degree with a low gpa.
My mom is getting fined and billed for bogus reasons.$500 for not pulling over one more lane while police were stopping someone. $820 for 2 year subscription to magazines she never received. She has probation and she coughs often. The world needs to leave her alone, what the hell.
My Grandma and last living grandparent died a week ago. I found out yesterday. My Great Aunt whom I have never even seen or talked to before sent us a card saying she had Jesus in her heart and hopes we can find that too. We aren't Christian, and I'm sure she knows that.
The woman that I am in love with doesn't love me back. She doesn't want to even be my friend anymore. I said rude things to her because I am crazy about her.
Let me just go die somewhere please.

Can you identify these rom-coms from just a screenshot from the middle of the films? This is a multiple choice quiz so even if you're not entirely sure you can always take a guess and at least have a 25% chance of getting it right anyway, so why not have a go?! https://www.buzzfeed.com/alysaurus688/rom-com-screenshot-trivia-quiz

Try not to take your aunts words personaly I am sure she was just hoping for the best for you both. I know it can be offenciv, but I doubt she meant any harm by it.
As far as the woman you love let her go and maybe some day she will come back to you. You cant make people have feelings that are not there. I have been in this situation before also and its heart breaking and it sucks bad. It is however a matter of here and now. This is the way you feel now and in the future you may find someone that you have even stronger feelings for.
I wish you luck !
I am currently unemployed! I can't get a job because I don't have the experience! I graduated 2 years ago! and I've worked 2 jobs that barely lasted 7 months in total! I have hope that one day things will change! and if it means that I have to fold shirts in stores to earn my money and live then so be it because I know nothing lasts for ever and people get promoted..even those sales people that you see in the stores folding shirts get promoted to staff manager and then to store manager and possibly to branch manager etc..
anyways you get the idea. have hope and don't overthink about things! let things flow naturally. and pleasing people is hard. and when it comes to love I always compare a partner to a bird locked in a cage. if you set the bird free and it flies away and never returns then that bird does not want to be in the cage, but if it doesn't run away then that bird loves you! .partners are the same! if you please them and they don't approach you in the end then it's time to let go.
you see sometimes being selfish is ok, you have to put your mental health and happiness first! never ever EVER give time to people that don't appreciate you as a human being.
Every CV you write for every job application needs to be rewritten based on that job, and what is important in that job. Downplay skills or education that are not relevant. Don't tell someone, when you try for a job at macdonalds, about the law degree, or whatever. Just don't tell them.
Get a job. Get the job you can get. Grab it, hold onto it, and work your guts up to make sure they don't sack you. head down, bum up.
As to the rest of it; you've lost the girl - there will be other girls. Let that go. Your auntie doesn't have to care whether you're christian or not, she's expressing her own christianity, which is fine. :) I am very sorry for grandma's passing, that is a shame.
As to mum - why on earth is she on probation? She will be watched and pulled over lots when she is on probation. The cops will know her and watch her. She's going to have to behave herself. She might want to cancel her credit card, knuckle down, and dig her way out of debt.
It's horrible when you are scammed, and targeted - but you will be scammed, and you will be targeted, so you just have to work out strategies for handling that. When it's all over, everyone will be just that much happier with their lot, having such a bad experience to compare it with. :)
Internships are probably my best option, but most people want interns that are still in college. I know I can do most jobs that I apply for, but I'm always judged on bs. I'm not a liar. I just want to do honest work. That's all I've ever wanted.
My Mom is probably the most well-behaved person I know. She got probation for one poor decision of driving after taking a sleeping pill. I think the law just has a hard-on for picking on the old foreign lady.
I'm a realist. I know that I won't be able to do what I really want to do anymore. Experience matters too much. I just want to end it.
What you have to do is get your head on straight. You are your own worst enemy. You are making one step forward, two steps back, aren't you. You are spending half your time undermining what you do in the other half of your time.
I remember as a young woman working out that I was doing this. I remember visualising a man on a tightrope going across Niagara falls.
Let's say here he is in the middle. He can walk in two directions. if he walks this way, he ends up here. If he walks that way, he ends up there. Either direction he goes in, he gets onto dry land doesn't he. He can go where he wants from there...
But what happens if he walks a bit one way, then turns, and walks a bit the other? Where does he end up?
He gets nowhere.
After a month or two, a year or two, a decade or two, how's he feeling about life? Discouraged? Desperate? Miserable? Suicidal?
How are you feeling lately?
It barely matters what job you get so long as you get one. Get one. I don't care if it's sweeping streets. Get a job. That will get you onto dry land. From there you can plan, and progress, and move.
And until you do so you're hanging out on a tightrope in the middle of niagara falls, and you're getting more and more tired.
