My friend J moved out of her apartment 4 months ago to take a job somewhere else and has been looking for someone to fill her spot for a while. She found someone and her roommates were lazy about meeting the person. After they finally set a time 10pm one night, my friends one roommate, P, called and said "oh I can't make it I changed plans" This is causing my friend to continue to have to pay rent for two apartments. I was so mad when I heard this! Same thing happened with a another potential roommate. Angry! AND J is pretty sure that P is letting her best friend who broke up with her boyfriend live in the apartment and that is why they do not want to look for anyone. Does J really have to keep paying rent?!
