Today was my fourth day at work, and so far I am loving it! I've done the same sort of work in the past, so i'm pretty much familiar with everything making my job a breeze.
Sadly, hubby was laid off, but this was no surprise as the company is going under. Anyway, his ex boss is CONSTANTLY e-mailing him wanting him to (snicker) do jobs for her off the books, which he obviously can not do if he is to collect unemployment. She wants to pay him the same, so why the fuck she fired him when she needs shit done is beyond me.
He has been unemployed since Friday, and she has e-mailed him with three jobs that he must deny. WTF?!
I've been a little bit on the ill side, but I think it may be a combo of me getting up 5 hours earlier (early job) and taking my medicine about 7 hours earlier. I'm thinking maybe I should just take my pills to work.
Cat wise, Oscar is still misbehaving. The other night, he knocked down the gate again, but this time it fell in a manner that pinned Felix in a corner blocked by the fence and the dresser. Poor thing must have been trapped for quite a while before we answered his meows. He always cries at night, so we thought it was just Felix doing his usual routine. LOL!
Oh, and Calaveras is for the most part done. Just going to do some remixing and add some singing.

Hubbies ex boss sounds like she made a decision but only thought about it after it had been made, not fair really.
I know the terror of multiple cats at night, they can be quite mean to each other
You know his boss may have done that to get around paying taxes and unemployment insurance. As a former business owner, I can vouch for it being brutal. If he works on the side he doesn't have to report that unless she claims it as contract labor, I believe, but don't quote me on that.
BTW- His ex boss is the most untrustworthy person in the world, which is even more reason to say no. And yes...his last paycheck is coming in late again...
He isn't doing shit for her nor should he. If he did, it would never end and there is no point in risking messing up unemployment.
ONE job I could understand, but this lady actually can not survive without my husband's work. It really is a ridiculous situation
