I was catching up on the sixth season of Weeds, and at the finale I just started crying...hysterically....I hate goodbyes! They suck...it took me about 5 mins after the episode was over to get to the point where the tears were less frequent.

I can't cope with goodbyes in MY life, so how am I supposed to cope in a fictional character's life....

Does this make me weird?

well if you're weird then so am I.. I sobbed my heart out when Inspector Morse died..and when Anakin Skywalker went over to the 'dark side'... I have issues with goobyes and loss in my life so even in fiction it resonates with me

Thank you! Its like EVERY time someone dies in a series I watch, I cry sooooo hard. I cried at the end of Toy Story 3 because I grew up watching it and it was like I was saying Goodbye to my childhood! I don't know what to do anymore...people keep calling me a baby, but I can't help it!

If you are weird for this, move over and make room for me!

I got really upset at the end of a a made for TV mini-series when one of the main characters finally got his act together only to get killed by a character who had been evil for the entire show.

But I did vow that I would stop vesting so much of my well being in fictional characters.

Not that I'm 100% on that mind you. I got really sad when Dobby died in the last Harry Potter book.

OKAY! DOBBY IS DIFFERENT! Fred got me, then Tonks, and Lupin, and Hedwig...I started counting them down! That's my all time favorite HP book, but I cry when they die! I've read that book sooo many times though!
