Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.

Just curious if it's just me or if this happens to others too.
I'm managing....
Was able to get through my day, the things I needed to do.
---out of bed, dressed, ect
---went to church, even managed a "happy face" there (but not now)
---did dishes and laundry and a bit of shopping
BUT.....I just don't feel like I have enough energy to speak. Even a 2 word response takes all I have...too much. ...a smile is no longer doable
I'm managing....but just barely....
Does anyone else ever just feel the overwhelming need to just remain silent.
(Typing doesn't seem to be affecting me the same way....does this make sense?)

There are a few old staffers left at my job but most of my team is completely new. I feel like I can't express my work grief to the management or HR. Good for you getting out and going to church today
I have to push myself right now as well
A big benefit I get is that when I do push myself and accomplish something no matter how small I'm glad that I did it
