Yesterday was a pretty good day. My husband is a runner and entered a race 90 minutes from our house. I went along. While he ran, i sat by a stream in the sun and pondered life. I was joined by other people..one of them a 4 year old named Livvie who wanted to sit on my rock with me and chattered on as only 4 year olds can. He Mom thanked me for being so kind to her.
On the way back we stopped at a little shop that looked interesting. The owner has a parrot who loves women, and well...I love birds. The parrot has a rather impressive vocabulary.....but I lost it when it looked at me, pupils constricted and said "I am a very baaaad bird!" in the most suggestive parrot voice I ever heard. LOL!!!!!!!

It amazes me when I hear them talk. Years ago we had an African Grey Parrot and he sounded EXACTLY like my husband. It was uncanny! Unfortunately, he wasn't fond of women.. lol

Parrots are amazing! We had an African grey for many years too and he had about 300 words!
He knew how to sound like my hubby coming home from work and he could sound like the telephone ringing
