Ok so today was the last day of school and for the whole summer i will be at my moms house...i asked my dad if i can go to therapy over the summer and he went on about me having limited session for the rest of my life on the insurance..i have like 200 i think and i only had 10 sessions since december, and he was saying obviously therapy is not working cux she recommened that i join group therapy too...she only said that cuz of the cutting and stuff. and i tried to say it worked for the sexual abuse and he interupted me and said therapy has to end...isnt my therapist suppose to say that!?!?!? i've only been to 10 since december so he acts like thats sooo much! No one else is using the therapy cuz they dont believe in it, so idk what the problem is. he was like just go to ur moms house and enjoy the summer...so no therapy this summer! :( oo yea and he was like u enjoy going to therapy..arent i suppose to enjoy it, to get help??? and he was was like u think u could go ther and vent everything in ur stomach??????wtf!!!!!!!!!!!!!

talk to ur mom, tell her u really think the counceling is dong goood for u.
Im not sure what the lws in NJ is but in CA, after age 15, parents have very lil rights in medical/MENtal health issues.
example: Took 15 yo daughter in for pap, she is sexually active. She did not want me in for the pap & if there was anything wrong, dr could NOT tell me w/o her permission.
But, talk to mom.
