Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.
Other than that, no, I don't think so. Just hard work and effort.
Just about everyone can 'think or imagine' and 'hear' the voices of others or themselves. I cannot explain it, but in schizophrenia, a more severe phenomenon categorized as auditory hallucination occurs. I don't know enough about it to describe it, but schizophrenia (with or without hallucinations) is very serious IF UNTREATED. The good news is it is easily and effectively treated with medication.
From your post, I think you should tell a doctor what you have posted (and any other info you can provide) and request an evaluation. The main reason you should do this is if you have such a problem .. it can make your life very, very, very difficult, can get worse to the point of severe dibilitation, and become very dangerous for yourself and others. Medications (simply) can give you a veritable normal life. It is a very easy fix, but you need a diagnosis first. It would be a heavy price to pay in lieu of such a 'cheap' and easy fix.
ive been begging my dad to send me for an evaluation and he said no....i dnt feel good at all, i have been for a month so far , i feel terrrible...i will ask my dad again.....i really cnt be like this anymore....
ps the voices, i realized is nothing, its just me immagining me in a conversation with someone, i would be in a conversation for hrs, yea so i think people do that right?
There should also be help for you regardless of what your parents say. You can go to the courts in most states if necessary.
