Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.
Nothing I can say is going to fix anything tonight. Your profile indicates how much some people need you.
I don't have a lot to offer .. but I notice you have not posted here before .. as far as I can tell.
I hope you will find some friendship and support here in this group. Believe me, there are many here who 'understand'.
I also hope you will not give up, .. one day at a time, and try your best. That is all anyone can do and life has many surprises in it. If we don't know what to do now, we may know what to do later. That is the good thing about life .. it is a stream of events.
Hope to see you often here in this support group and that it helps you somehow.
In other words, you have psychological problems that have yet to be diagnosed. But one feature of them is that "you are sick of your life and hate everything". Those are such broad sweeping general statements that its no wonder whoever you are seeing can't come up with a diagnosis.
Without knowing more all I can say is you are in the right place, and I hope you find a little piece of mind and happiness with your family.
I'm sure lots of us who are here do, you're in a rough situation, not rougher than anyone else's, but still rough.
The boat carrying those in rough situations is a very crowded one.
The question is....now that people feel bad for you, what are you going to do?
One day at atime is all any of us can do. Take little steps to get organized...make lists of what needs to be done everyday, basic maintanence sort of stuff. Check stuff off as it gets done! Pretty soon, you'll see how much you're actually achieving...feels pretty good!
You can do it. Big hugs!
I don't think it's wrong to look for sympathy from others - we are social creatures, not meant to carry these burdens alone.
Just know that there are people here who understand. Take one day at a time, or even one hour at a time. One definition of hope is realizing that bad times are temporary.
I can totally relate to your school issues, I'm attending online college and it is so stressful as an adult with responsibilities to stick with it.
Hang in there, and I'll keep you in my prayers.
I like what WanderingVet said, "the good thing about life...it is a stream of events". Nothing stays the same forever.
I hope you can soon get help from the doctors. You are in my prayers. Sending you hugs. Stay with us here, ok? We care.
