Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.

I guess the thing is: if you're anxious but not depressed, and you're feeling suicidal, then yes, yes it is possible. Because you are a human being, and you are feeling this way.
I'm wondering if you need to go back to your doctor, and say you're getting suicidal. It could be the medication. Have you recently been given it or have you been on it for a while?
How long have you been having these suicidal thoughts?
I was on wellbutrin for maybe 2, - 3 yrs. For major depression and for generalised anxiety. I went off it, which was great for a while, had a few crises, went back on - and found it was increasing my anxiety.
I never noticed that first time around.
So I don't know if a pill you have taken at one point can change how it interacts with your body after dose changes. But your doctor will know.
what you need to know is that this suicidal stuff is a trick of the brain. You don't actually want to do anything - but you might think you do. It'll go away when you get the state you're in fixed up.
