Hi, you may know already but if you don't I have a 20° S curve scoliosis and from 16 to 19 years I had underweight due to anxiety and psychosis in school. Couldn't eat much and had a weight of only 55 kg as a male. I was also sitting incorrectly on the pc desk while playing some videogames at that time. So I had poor posture, bad sitting habits and probable poor nutrition.
Is it irrational to blame myself for my scoliosis? Is it no one's fault when someone gets scoliosis? Is it all in the DNA and is it unpreventable? You can't do anything to worsen or cause this?

There is absolutely nothing you could have done. Sometimes if you catch it very early, as in before you are grown, there are braces that can help the curve.
