Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.
I hope that by the time you read this you are feeling much better. That you may focus on other things / thoughts that are worthwhile and uplifting.
In your words, I certainly can recall of how trouble my life was. But in your case, it is a good thing that you share your thoughts with your friends here. True, there are "feel-good days", "hell-on-earth days", or just in between, and we do all sorts of things to cope. But let us not dwell on the things that does not define us, always move towards that good spirit that insist you to hope for the better.
You wrote that your inner voice telling you that you are worthless, but that voice does not condole the truth, that everyone is worthy of giving and receiving love; including you. My dear one, I see you as a person who need a warm hug, or words of affirmation to remind yourself. And I am happy to give you that!
Itzjustme. When you hearing that voice in your head again, please be aware that all the things it says does not define of who you are.
Always count your blessings, and always dare to dream for the better! That's what keep most people standing tall.
Have no fear! It can't rain all the time!
It's definatly very difficutlt to deal with so much crap all at once. But, try to stay focused on "you" in all of it.
If it helps to have a shrink or group meetings or even just doing something as simple as seeing a movie... do it....
I hope that you're feeling more "you" soon!
Mind you, I had a bad day yesterday, and I'm glad the kids were out, because I told myself to f*** off a few times.
Ask your Doc about Borderline Personality Disorder, not saying you have it, just too close to my symptoms
