I feel as though I'm going to pop and freak out on everyone around me. I can handle very little stress at a time, and any small bump in the road makes my head burn. It speaks volumes... this irritableness is all stemming from my depression.
You can't handle much because you're already so stressed. Everything must go perfectly or else I will break down. It's almost a curse to be so self aware of what you're going through and why you're going through it, but not know how to manage it/fix it. I am new to this website so here goes nothing! Things need to start changing. No one deserves to experience this mental pain on a daily basis.

I invited Bill to have dinner with me last Sunday. He wasn't willing to drive 7 hours to mid Michigan and teased me with his beautiful ribs!!! So, of course I ate alone and had cedar salmonĀ

check out that smoke ring. It tasted really good. I smothered it with Maulls BBQ sauce which is Local to St. Louis and one of the best I ever had.....

I too have a hard time when any little thing doesn't go the way that I want it too. To combat this I plan everything I do meticulously, but inevitably someone or something will cause things to go awry, even if just a little bit. I can't stand it and I want to explode.
I feel so down all of the time and I just want to crawl in bed and go to sleep to escape it, but I can't sleep so laying in bed with my depressive thoughts just makes me even more depressed. Trying to get through every single day is simply exhausting. I've tried so many drugs but none of them seem to help. I want to find activities to take my mind off of it, but the depression makes it so that I don't ever actually engage in any activities. I can't make myself work out, clean the house, or sometimes even leave the house. I understand where you are coming from. I'm told that there is generally an antidepressant out there somewhere that can help us, but each person is different and we have to find the right one. I haven't found mine yet, and I'll admit I have given up. My depression just makes me accept my condition. I hope you manage to continue searching for the treatment that can help you, even if it involves going to a psychologist/psychiatrist. I wish you the best of luck and hope you find the help you need. Take care!
I am sorry that you are having trouble with stress. I know that when I get overwhelmed my ability to handle stress goes way down. I also lose my sense of humor.
So tell us, what things are going to start changing?
Gentle hugs
