Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.
I do meditate and deep breathing exercises when my anxiety attacks come. I also do the hot bath.
I've also come to notice that when its my time of the month (sorry to mention that) that I get more depressed and suicidal to the point it is dibilitating. When I see the dr in 2 weeks I'm going to tell her and maybe something can be done about that too or she can direct me to someone who can.
You are the boss of you. You do not have to act on ANY voice you hear. If you need support, here we are!!! Look how many of us came to your call for help!
YOu want better feelings, you can learn here to think better thoughts.'
Better feelings will follow better thoughts.
This is what I say. Lying is not my bag. Gave it up after I was here in the community for a while.
I can't begin to tell you how many women have this disorder and sadly, it's not something that is even today, remotely taken into
consideration. Hormones can got very "out of whack" around that time and it is possible that's what's happening with you as well.
If neither your pscyh or primary has thought of this, I would only ask you to have them consider it as a contributing factor. Perhaps you would need to talk with a gyn dr. as well.
IF this is found to be the case, it can be managed!!!
I'm not a dr. nor am I "telling" you what to do, it's just when I read your comment the "bells" went off in my head.
I hope today is a better one for you!!!
