Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.
You feel good, the meds are working. Talk to your counselor/therapist about reduction as part of a plan rather than just cutting by yourself. The risks of it all going wrong are not what you want just when things are going so well. Your new girl is fully aware and is ok with it all, so no problems there. Take no unnecessary chances my friend.
No-one likes meds, but you now have too much to lose to take the chance without professional advice and help.
That is what I think anyway. Hope it all goes well.
Good luck!
Please think of your meds the same way that a diabetic does insulin. The meds have managed to get our body chemistry to where it should be.
Gentle hugs
