As to working 80 hr weeks, I've done it. It certainly sorts the men from the boys - people either crash and burn, or get on a high.
You get tired, but you do get paid. You're moonlighting a whole job on top of your current job.
How come you have to work so many hours? How come one fulltime job is not enough? Are you saving for something, or are you living somewhere expensive or what?
At any rate your problems are bigger than a selfish flatmate I think. I hope you can find a cheaper place to live, better job, that sort of thing. 80 hrs a week is not funny when there's no end in sight.
I'm not saving up necessarily but I was out of work for 2 weeks cuz I needed surgery and I was living paycheck to paycheck before recently acquiring my fulltime job. I still have bills I need to catch up with but I did inform my manager 3 weeks ago that my schedule needed to change. I told him 3 nights a week at MAX but he still schedules me for 5 and its killing me.
Jkatso: I appreciate the support. Serving isn't easy but its made me great at multitasking and prioritizing my responsibilities. I've already talked to my manager about my availability change and he didn't listen so I'll definitely be sitting him down tonight when I go in to work...AGAIN lol
Thanks for all the support guys <3
