Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.
I read your title "I'm going to break".
And my thought is......no you won't. You can get through this.
I don't know all the stresses you are facing but I think we discover how strong we are inside and can get through the most hardest of situations.
Focus on what you CAN do. If you can make any changes at all. Focus on one thing at a time. If you need help, ask for it from someone.
The people who say negative things, that's just them, its just their points of view. Doesn't make them right.
So ok you haven't actually been with a female but there is an attraction there. Maybe you are bi. Maybe not. I wouldn't get too caught up with labels. Love is love, attraction is attraction.
You feel you could actually be intimate with same sex? It seems you lean towards men but maybe that's because of not having other opportunities.
. It is common to be attracted to the same sex especially in younger years. there is often curiosity but when it comes down to the nitty gritty of being intimate with same sex person or actually date the same sex then it may either confirm or alter one's thoughts on the subject. You may know for sure when you have actually been with a female. I'm not disrespecting you at all and know exactly where you are coming from as I have always considered myself bisexual and i did act upon my desires but I did end up marrying a man as I leaned towards men overall.
I'm just letting you know WHY these people say that to you. I wouldn't get upset with them.
Only you know for sure. And it's all good. Love is love.
You said you are exhausted. Are you sleeping enough, eating balanced diet? drinking enough water, not drinking enough water can make us tired. You may have to make changes so as for you to be able to cope with life's challenges.
Try and find a distraction when you get the intense desire to cut. Go for a walk, exercise, ping an elastic band on your wrist. Listen to music, count to a hundred. Whatever it takes to reduce the desire.
You've said already what the consequences would be if you cut yourself. Your life would be a whole lot more difficult if you lost a place to live.
It's great that you want to go to school. So right there is a goal. Having a goal is a sign that you really want to live but you find obstacles in the way that prevents you from pursuing your desire. Those obstacles can be reason for frustration and depression.
See if there are solutions to ridding those obstacles. Look at Alternative routes to reach your goal. Ask for help.
Sorry I always write a lot in my responses, I just wanted to address the different things you mentioned. It's like everything is connected and things have gotten on top of you.
Take moments during the day to take deep breaths. Breathe in slowly and deeply through the nose and count to seven in your head as you are doing it, hold breath for 7 counts, slowly exhale to count of 7. Do it whenever you feel tension rising.
If you need a hugg, Here is one: (hugg for you!!)
You will get better. No brag, just fact!!
(((Hugs)))).
