Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.
I'm grateful for the two beautiful children that I gave birth to, who bring so much joy and love into my life. I'm grateful for the fact that even though my first marriage did not last, I learned how to become independent as a result of it. I'm grateful that my mother would be proud of me for the way I have raised my children and conducted myself in life. Hell, I'm just grateful!
Wonderful thread, SK!
Put some pants on man! he he
I have many regrets already in life and have to struggle against them crushing me...dont feel ive accomplished anything except school. Everything else is robotic...get up, dressed, eat, work, eat, sleep.
Seriously hun? My life began at 45. You have so much still to look forward to. Don't close the door in your 30's when you have so much to offer.

I'm greatful for the 2 wonderful kids we had that have now grown up into wonderful adults (I just wish one of them would hurry up and make me a grandma LOL)
I still have lots of things I want to do.
1) Drive the Weinnermobile!
2) push a bladeless lawnmower.
3) find a gnome with a cannon.
The thing I regret most, spending to much of my time worrying over things that were beyond my control. Every problem I have ever had no matter how big has always worked out in the end. So.........I have decided from now on I am not going to waste precious days worrying........instead I'm going to dance in my kitchen.........be silly and enjoy life.......
I'm thankful for everything in my life, even the pain and hurt because they cause you to change and grow.
I'm so blessed to be able to write poetry for HER and some of my poems have won awards.
And, I've seen the Grand Canyon and it's beauty took my breath away.
It may sound korny...but I would like to shake the hands of ebery human being on this planet. I truly believe we are part of this intricate web that ripples with tremors at the slightest descicion one of us may make. The old" every action has a positive or equal reaction" stays true to my beliefs. I want to let everyone know I'm here.
For now I'll have to settle reaching out with my writing.
STORM...I'm here.
Jana, I'm a lot like you. I'm grateful for my 3 grown children that have given me so much love. I'm grateful for the wonderful marriages they all have and to be able to witness the loving relationships they have with my grandchildren. I'm grateful for having the opportunity to take care of my mother with Alzheimer's because she was always there for me no matter what I went through in life.
And I want to go to DisneyLand one day!! :-)
