upset, depressed, and crying. But now I'm pissed. I was signed up to go to the captal of my state wtih my club, to encourage legislatures to keep it open. I was suggested by a person going to the capital that I sign up. But when I finally asked her when they finally decided to leave, she said that she didn't think I could walk a couple of blocks so no I couldn't go. I was hurt upset depressed and crying till today. Then anger hit me.
I talked to my physical therapist. She said it was ridiculous. I can walk up to a mile or even two if I had to. 2 I might need a breather but not after a mile. I tried to tell the lady that too.
It's not so much that I didn't get picked, but it's the fact that they told me to sign up like I was gonna get to go. It's a huge let down. I went home wrote down what I was going to say.
Then today I asked my boyfriend if he was going, and he said it's on hold. I said why. He said they waited too long. I rejoiced that no one was going at first. But then now I realize we are totally on the mercy of the legistlatures to pass/fail the bill.
I also know that the world is not a wish granting factory. It wasn't a wish. I was told by the person taking them to sign up. So I thought that meant that she would choose me. I have never signed up for anything. I guess I just got my hopes up too high and they were shot down by the same person that told me to sign up.
