Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.

I know you have hope because you posted on here. If you had no hope you wouldn't of said anything expecting someone to respond and help you. So I am trying to help you. I'm sorry about your wife... I don't think she understands how to help you and as a human she wants you to be okay, but because it's out of her control she's trying to find something to blame. I was her with my fiance and It turned out I was the one pushing away. I want to tell you to ask her to understand and see you love her despite this situation and you just need her. I will pray that somehow she will understand. If not I pray that someone will walk into your life, no matter who it is, and give you hope. Remind you that there is something to live for. You can live for yourself and the idea of everything being okay one day.
Something so small as your dogs being your hope or your house. Hope is believing that what is not seen is guaranteed to happen. You don't see the reason for living, but if you try I have hope that you will be alright. I know it will be hard, but I believe you are strong. I am praying for you and thinking of you.
Thank You for the kind words and your thoughts and prayers.
The wife and I are still talking and trying to reconcile and get our marriage back on track. The new meds are now really starting to kick in to gear, the sessions with my psychologist are working and I am currently visiting with my uber cool nephew for a few days.
We have an appointment with our psychologist for this Friday coming up to start to work through all of the hurt and pain that we have dished out to each other this year. I am no angel, I am as complicit in this as she is and have said things to hurt her to.
I miss her, I love her and I feel like a part of me is missing without her.
