So, just wrote a journal entry, but I wanted to post it here to get some advice?
So my counselor ended up sending me to the hospital on Friday afternoon (which was kind of a mutual agreement between the two of us), and I just got out this morning (Tuesday). I kind of told her I was planning on killing myself over the weekend when my roommate was gone, probably partly because I knew I needed help. So I ended up there over the weekend. I had one nurse when I was there tell me that she thought I was only doing this as a way to get attention, and that in time my "pay-off" would be seen. I don't understand that at all. I don't do this for attention. Why would I willingly live like this just so someone would pay attention to me? It doesn't make any sense to me at all. All I'm ever doing is trying to hide this part of me, this depressed person. I don't go around telling people about it, I'm always trying my hardest to hide it from eveyone. And then this morning before my Dr. discharged me he threatened to put me in a home. He said that ending up in the hospital like this with no explanation for my actions is just showing him that I'm incapable of functioning in society, and that I'm not safe to live without constant supervision.
Well, that was my weekend (or a few parts of it anyway). Also had a few frightening experiences in the hospital that I won't go into right now. Any thoughts on this anyone?

When I was in hospital on mini vacation I requested to be transfered to private rehab center. I refused to leave the center until I lined up services of in home care service and get 2 of my friends to assist w buying my grocerys and pre makeing a wk worth of sandw for me and to do my laundry. My nighbour would stop by to walk my dogs.
Are you able to do these things so soon ? I wasn't.

E standard time Iv notice that board gets quite at night. I also keep in mind that people work and they don't keep my schedule. so don't get discourage if it takes us time to respond,k

Oh ya, I got a rm mate just incase I need to go on another mini vacation. Which is no big deal.

Were you really suicidal ?
What are your underlying reasons for being suicidal if you are ?
Sounds to me like you either counselling or medication could have provided what you need without hospitalization..so try to find a doc who will see you as an outpatient and seek therapy...
I don't know what your background is, what your diagnosis is..what your history is...
So if you could go into that I might be able to come up with a better suggestion...
