Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.

So like Veggie says, your time is not up yet!
I tried one time and for some reason it failed. But since then I have felt like I here for a reason. And so are you.
i haven't yet. I have it all planned. I was just discussing this with my therapist tonight. For years I've had to have a back up plan just to feel safe. Now, though, with the grief, and the trying to find the right meds and all the highs and lows of med changes, I'm not trusting myself.
For the first time ever, I'm thinking of giving my box of purple and my key to it to my therapist.
Because I had that black out cutting episode where I lost three hours and don't have a clue what I did or why I cut again after decades, I'm thinking I can't trust myself the way I used to.
I'm gonna chew on that this week and decide whether or not I can live without my security blanket before I see her again on Tuesday.
I am glad you are still alive! Even though you are hurting, it is a gift that you are still alive.
