I'm not okay right now!

I'm in a long distant relationship with my current boo. My boo added me on instagram a few days ago and I saw a couple of his pictures that he's single and trying to look for someone else. When I confronted him about it, he said it was from a couple of months ago from where he and I gotten into an argument, when I told him that I never wanted to speak to him again and that we're done.  My boo and I made up since that argument but I've been really depressed about it lately because it's starting to make me wonder if he really wants be single or is acting like he's single and wants to find someone else and cheat on me with another woman. Plus on top of that, he's not talking to me on a daily basis like he used to do in the begging and that's really got me wondering if he's cheating on me with another woman. I'm so depressed about it that I just want to self harm to take the pain away.

Self-harm would only make it worse for you. Why not just watch what he is doing for a while - and then decide what to do, if anything?

How long have you been together? If it's been a while why did he only add you recently? Are there any plans to be closer at some point and try? The biggest thing you need to question is if this is a relationship of convenience or one with potential REAL attachment. Long distance is rough and unfortunately, rarely pans out. I pray you do defy the odds and make it work but always be guarded

My advice: Dump this one and move on. Nothing good about it. Long distance relationships usually don't work out.

Hey WanderingVet, a boo is what some younger folks call their significant other. I'm 44 and way too old for this term :)

My opinion is to move on and let him go. I’m not saying he is cheating, but the devotion you want is definitely not there, plus he lives far away. There are likely better relationship opportunities for you closer to home. I wish you all the best.

sometimes we just need to be honest with ourselves and ask:: am i happy, am i getting what i need in this relationship to be happy in life. what are the give and takes from us both... should be some what balanced or is one side ( you ) giving more than other person... make list of pros and cons.. do it often based on emotions.. won;t be long u can see the pros or cons are more or less.. on daily basis. write down how u feel each day.. when u think of him or have to think of what u found making u not trust him... if gut feeling, then there is reason. I heard this excuse before, oh babe that is from months ago when we had a fight... so guard up is right...be careful, but old saying life is short not to be happy...

sonnycamehome, sat beside some 'young' folks at cafe other day.. their slang made me feel my age LOLOLOL.... and boo was used, but guessed talking about her other half...
