Good morning everyone. I just joined this Depression group.
I have suffered from depression most of my life. The bad bouts come and go. When it comes, it is really bad. It usually requires that I take medication for a year or so to get it to go away. When it goes, it stays gone for a long time. It's baaaaaack.
I have a severe disturbance in my inner ear that makes me dizzy all of the time and extremely dizzy when I'm exposed to certain noises -- microwave, computer fan, washer, dryer, dishwasher, air conditioner, water running, shower, etc. I had major surgery in April -- a craniotomy -- that was supposed to fix the inner ear problem. It only made the symptoms worse. That has triggered a severe episode of depression that I can't shake. So I will be popping in here now an then. I love the support I find at Daily Strength.

I am so sorry about your issues with the dizziness. I have bouts of it once in awhile....but nothing like you describe...that has got to be horrible! Is there anything else they might be able to do? I mean, if you let them? lol....it would suck for it to get worse :/
