Hmmm .. not sure how. Maybe contacting your doctor will give some ideas.
Hi Kuno, good 2 c u again.
Here's a link to some success stories about people who suffered withdrawal from benzies.
I'm currently without insurance and had to cancel my next appointment, so I don't have a professional to talk to. I also do not have a therapist.
My advice is to take really good care of yourself eat quality foods/whole foods no junk or processed crap.
Drink plenty of fluids preferable water, no sugar containing ingredients
Stay off caffeine if at all possible, or limit to one cup a day.
Do not watch the news,
Do not watch horror movies
As well as getting enough sleep, exercise.
There are things that you can do to increase positive emotions
Increasing positive emotions will help tremendously . I know you will get through this. . Peace
Have you ever tried deep breathing meditation? Just set a timer for 15 minutes and do your best to just focus on your breathing.
Sorry if this demeans what you're going through, I just figured it wouldn't hurt to suggest.
Best,
Brock
I am going back to cooking indian as it always made me feel good. Good idea to stay away from sugar and I already stay away from coffee.
I just remembered that klonopin is also used to treat alcohol withdrawal for a reason, and that is that it behaves the same way alcohol does. I'm not taking it for that reason (long term panic sufferer), but i'm wondering if my habit of having three or four glasses a week is causing me to taper incorrectly? Something I am going to bring up with my doc once my insurance is reinstated.
